Since our founding, we have carried forward Tokyo Boeki’s core business in the steel industry, dedicating ourselves to the stable supply of raw materials and resources – including refractories that are essential to Japan’s iron- and steel- making operations. It is our greatest pride to have built our business foundation by working closely alongside our customers on the ground across the entire iron and steel production value chain, from upstream to downstream. We have also devoted ourselves to delivering high-quality Japanese steel products to markets across Asia. By steadily building trust with our local partners, we have served as a reliable bridge, connecting Japan’s finest products with the places where they are truly needed. This role continues to be a significant source of fulfillment for us.

In recent years, our business has expanded into new domains. We have launched solution-based services that support the digital transformation of manufacturing sites and entered the field of manufacturing and sales of forged rolls that underpin steelmaking facilities. These new challenges are made possible only by the trust we have cultivated with our customers over many years and the expertise we have gained on the ground. From material procurement to equipment and data utilization, we will continue to evolve as a comprehensive materials provider that supports our customers’ manufacturing from multiple perspectives.

The environment surrounding the steel industry remains highly uncertain with limited visibility due to factors such as trade policies, geopolitical risks, and exchange-rate fluctuations.
